The warm September sun fell strongly on this part of the grounds, uninterrupted by trees, its light bouncing off the glass in the mansion’s walls. Ben watched these manoeuvres with great interest, and strained every sinew in his frame to keep ahead of the other boats. I'm glad he's come to see me.
